[su_divider text=”INDEMNITOR/CO-SIGNER” size=”1″] [su_spacer size=”40″]Click on the link to start the Indemnitor / Co-Signer Application. An “Indemnitor” has certain obligations pertaining to this agreement. Some of the important things to remember are as follows:
- Guarantees the appearance of the defendant for all court hearings.
- Is obligated to inform the bail bond agency of any changes in addresses, phone numbers, etc for themselves and the defendant(s).
- Promises to reimburse the bail bond company for any expenses incurred in the event the defendant fails to appear in court and is subsequently arrested.
- Agrees to pay the full amount of the bail bond to the bail bond agency in the event the defendant “skips out on bond”. These are just some of the obligations – feel free to read the complete contract for all contractual obligations.
This is a separate form that needs to be complete with as much information as possible regarding the defendant. If you do not know a particular item, please leave is blank and we will fill it in when we meet with the defendant.

This form is also used if a payment plan is authorized.

You can print this form for your records. The bail bond agent will complete this form and notarize it. Please remember that if you are married – both parties need to be present to sign, regardless if only one party is the deed holder. The State of Michigan acknowledges “Dower Rights” in part by MCL 558. This means that a spouse had certain rights to real property with or without the consent of the other. This is why both spouses must sign the mortgage deed regardless of whose name is “on” the mortgage.
